Support Chantal's Campaign

Every successful person receives help on their journey.  I would like to thank my mentors, colleagues, friends and family who are supporting my election campaign.

I’m running a lean environmentally friendly campaign.  My promotional materials are being locally printed by Willow Printing and Publishing.  I won’t be using campaign “yard” signs because they are not recyclable and they are expensive.

This page gives example of how you can support my campaign through testimonials, in-kind donations, cash donations, and by volunteering.

Testimonials

The most valuable contribution you can make to my campaign is to provide a testimonial explaining why you think I would be a good councillor.  People like to vote for candidates that have the support of people they know and respect.  Testimonials can be in written, audio or video format and will be shared on the testimonials page.  Please send your testimonials using the contact form below with “Testimonial” as the subject line.

You can also support my campaign by liking my campaign Facebook page and sharing posts or by following me on Twitter sharing my tweets.

Donations

In kind donations are also extremely helpful.  The videos on the home page of this website were donated by a Canadian company.  Murray Ward’s own poloDesign generously donated consulting time to explain how to set up Paypal and email marketing.  Thank you to Willow Printing and Publishing for donating election signs.  If you would like to make an in-kind donation please send an email using the contact form below with “In-kind donation” as the subject line.

As of 15 August 2014, the only cash donations to my campaign were made by my company, Empowered Path Inc. and me.  If you would like to make a small cash donation, you may do so in person or by using PayPal.  Cash donations will assist with paying for the printing of campaign posters and other expenses incurred directly as a result of this campaign.  All surplus cash will be held in trust by the City of Quinte West for me to campaign in future municipal elections.
  • Volunteer opportunities

Thank you to my friends and family who have volunteered to spread the word that I would like to serve Quinte West as one of the Murray Ward Councillors.  There are still many volunteer opportunities.  I plan on walking, biking and driving to as many homes and businesses in Murray Ward as possible between August 18th and October 26th, 2014.  If you’d like to join me, when I walk or bike through your neighbourhood, let me know by using the contact form below with “Volunteer – door to door” as your subject line.

I’d also like to help people get to the voting polls on October 27th, Election Day.  If you’d like to help, let me know by using the contact form below with “Volunteer driver” as your subject line.

While I am completely bilingual, I rarely write in French.  It takes me at least four times as long to write in French as it does in English.  Thank you to Michelle Séguin for translating this website into French.

If there is a volunteer role that you would like to do to help out with my campaign, please send me an email using the contact form below with “Volunteer” as your subject line, providing a short description of the role you would like to take, and your contact information.

Together we make our community strong!  When you have your say in the 2014 Municipal Election, vote for me to be one of the Murray Ward Councillors.
